5 Select Unlisted Or Updated Network Adapter and
click OK.
6 Insert the EtherDisk diskette in drive A. Type the
following in the Install Driver dialog box prompt
and click OK:
a:\wfw311 [Enter]
7 In the Network Drivers dialog box, select the Fast
EtherLink ISA NIC on the list and click OK.
The Windows setup program asks if you want to replace
the Enhanced Mode Protocol manager with the version
you are installing.
8 Click Yes to all prompts.
The Windows setup programs asks for the NDIS.386 file.
9 If prompted, remove the EtherDisk diskette and
insert the Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11
Disk 7 and click OK.
10 If prompted for the EL515.386 driver, remove any
diskette from drive A and insert the 3Com EtherDisk
diskette in drive A.
11 Type the following path to load the NDIS 3 driver:
a:\wfw311 [Enter]
12 Click OK.
The PROTOCOL.INI and SYSTEM.INI files have been
modified. WFW saves the old versions with the extension
.001, where the number is incremented every time a new
PROTOCOL.INI or SYSTEM.INI is generated.
13 When prompted, restart the PC.
Windows 95
To install the NDIS 3 driver for Windows 95, follow
these steps.
To get online help about items in a Windows 95 display
box, click the question mark (?) in the upper right corner
of the box, move the cursor to the item of interest, and
click again.
