Update Port Interface
Type
Updates the ATM interface type for a specified port of the CoreBuilder
7000 family ATM switch. The possible interface types are PNNI, E-IISP, UNI
and IISP.
PNNI is available in version 4.5 extended only.
Manual Discovery
The main use of this command is during manual discovery, that is, when
auto-discovery is disabled. When auto-discovery is enabled,
(“Enable/Disable Auto-Discovery” on page 133) the ATM interface type is
determined automatically by the auto-discovery protocol with the peer
ATM device. For more information about manual discovery, “Manual
Discovery” on page 47 in the Operations Guide.
