Sets the age time for dynamic Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) cache
entries on a Multilayer Switching Module.

Important Considerations
■
The
age time
determines how long, in minutes, that the dynamic
entries remain in the ARP cache before they are removed.
■
By default, the module flushes the entry from the cache when it
reaches the age time.
■
A value of
0
indicates no age time, and the entry remains in the table
until you remove it with the
ip arp remove
option or flush the ARP
cache with the appropriate
flush
option.
