ICMP Type (Rule tab only):
This field displays a number (or message type) that
relates to a particular ICMP message and its definition. For information on ICMP
message types, refer to

ICMP Code (Rule tab only):
This field displays a code that contains the integers
which further describe the message or packet indicated in the ICMP Type field.

Test (Rule tab only):
This field displays
True
for rule matches that occurred in test
mode, and displays
False
for rule matches that did NOT occur in test mode.

Action (Rule tab only):
This field displays the rule’s action (Allow or Deny).

Packet (Rule tab only):
This field displays the first 255 bytes of the packet, which
typically includes the IP and TCP headers.
To view the audit-event information for a single audit event in a separate window,
double-click in the row for that audit event. An Audit Event Properties window appears,
displaying all of the information for that audit event in a single window. You can scroll
to other audit events in the Audit Event Properties window by clicking the Up or Down
arrows. You also have the option to view Policy information for a specific audit event by
clicking the
View this Policy
button. This action displays the Policy information for the
specific version of the policy that was in use when the audit event was generated.
Backing up the Database
The backup function backs up your policy and EFW device data. It does not backup
audit records. To backup your database using the Management Console, follow the steps
below.

In the Main menu, select
Backup
and
Restore Database
.

Select
Backup
, and click
Next
.

Select the path location and specify the file name for the file where you would like
the backup information to be saved in the Path field.

If you want to password-protect the backup file, type a password in the Password
field, and then retype the password in the Confirm field.

Click
Next
. A summary window appears.

Click
Backup
. A confirmation window appears. Click
Finish
.

If you used removable media for your backup data, remove and label the media.
NOTE:
The backup file contains administrative passwords and keys for any
secured NICs. Thus, the backup data should either be stored in a safe place,
password-protected, or both.
NOTE:
If you password-protect the backup data, make sure to record the
password. The backup data cannot be accessed without the password.
