AT Command Strings:
Init
Dial
The AT commands to initialize the modem at start-up of your
Prestige
.
The string is sent to the modem again whenever it is modified.
The default for this field is At&fs0=0w2s95=1.
The AT command needed to dial.
The default for this field is Atdt.
When you have completed this menu, press [Enter] to return to Menu 2.1.
The default init string tells the modem to load factory default (&f), not to answer any
incoming call (s0=0), to report line speed (w2) and in “
CONNECT Speed
” format (s95=1).
The default dial string tells the modem that the line uses tone dialing. If your switch still
requires pulse dialing, change the string to “
atdp
”.
Note on Default Init and Dial Strings
The default Init and Dial strings should work fine for the majority of cases. Please consult the
AT command sheet that comes with your
Prestige
if you need to alter them for you specific
situation.
