3. Configuration Tool Installation and Description
The operating parameters of CANFDCOM-100IE support two configuration methods.
The first is to use the host computer software, and the second is to use AT commands. For
how to use AT command for configuration, see the
CANFDCOM Series AT Command

. Both configuration methods require the repeater to enter configuration mode.
3.1 Entering Configuration Mode
To put the converter into configuration mode, a dedicated configuration switch is set,
as shown in Figure 3.1. Set the switch to the "CFG" position. The system is in the
configuration state, and the CFG indicator is on. The converter can be configured.
After
configuring the device, set the "configuration switch" to "ON"!
In normal operation.

3.2 PC Software Configuration
The configuration software name of the CANFDCOM-100IE converter is
"CANCOM-100IE configuration". The setting software is included on the CD-ROM
delivered with the product. Figure 3.2 shows the software interface.
