As shown in Table 4.16, in this mode, it is obvious that the frame information of CAN
messages will not be converted into serial frames. Since the start address in the
configured serial frame is 2, the length is 3 (in the case of extended frames). Therefore,
during conversion, the frame ID2, frame ID1, and frame ID0 in the CAN message are
sequentially converted to the serial frame as the contents of address 2, address 3, and
address 4. The data field of the CAN message will be sequentially converted to the
unfilled part of the serial frame without any modification.
4. Converting CANFD messages to serial frames
Assume that the start address of the configured CANFD identifier in the serial frame
is 2, the length is 3 (in the case of extended frame), the frame ID of the CANFD message
is 0x00123456, and the data is 0x00-0x3F. Table 4.17 lists the CANFD messages and the
results of conversion into serial frames.
