5. Quick Instructions 

5.1  Configuring the Converter 

5.1.1  Entering Configuration Mode 

After  the  device  is  powered  on,  set  the  switch  to  the  "CFG"  position,  as  shown  in 

Figure 5.1. The system enters the configuration state, and the CFG indicator is on. The 

converter can be configured.

5.1.2  Connecting the Converter by Using the Configuration Tool 

In the configuration mode, connect the PC and the converter by using a serial cable.

Run  the  "CANFDCOM-100IE  Configuration"  host  software,  as  shown  in Figure  5.2. 

Select the PC serial port connected to the converter, "COM15" in the example. Click the 

"Connect  Device"  button.  After  a  successful  connection,  the  "Connect  Device"  button 

becomes a "Disconnect" button.
