4.2.3
Fig. 4-1 Ventilation system
The unit has a torched ventilation system that takes in air through a
long-life fan placed on the front of the
ZGR SWIT NG (if two power
modules were fitted it would have 2 fans) and is expelled via the grilles
in the rear (Fig. 4-1).
As indicated in the previous section, the
ZGR SWIT NG unit must be
placed to allow air to enter and leave.
4.3 Electrical installation
AC input connection
4.3.1
The
ZGR SWIT NG system is powered from the single phase mains supply, in other words, phase, neutral and
ground.
Check that both voltage and frequency of the mains supply correspond to the unit, indicated on the
characteristics label.
Protective equipment is required (specifically, a Differential Switch) on the mains line upstream of the unit. In
addition to being a safety element, this provides us with a way of disconnecting the mains supply during
maintenance and installation work.
The mains network must be connected to the terminals provided for this
purpose:
As shown in the photograph, the left terminal corresponds to the ground input
while the other two are for phase and neutral inputs.
When the cables are connected the SUPPLY OK LED come on within 10
seconds (if the mains is correct).
Use the correct terminals for the cable section and connection terminals. The
connection cable section must be in accordance with the maximum estimated
current.
IMPORTANT
The mains must be de-energised before installing the unit. Make sure that all the safety elements are open.
ATTENTION
The unit must be maintained and installed by qualified personnel. Before doing any work inside the unit,
disconnect this from the mains.
