INSTALLATION
4.1 Receiving the material
Extract all the packaging material and visually examine the unit and accessories for possible damage during
transport. Notify the seller about any damage.
List and check all the items indicated on the delivery note. Check that the material delivered corresponds to the
delivery note. To do this, check the manufacturer's data plate situated on the front or inside the door of the
equipment.
The
ZGR SWIT NG system can be supplied on its own or included in a cabinet and the batteries may be included.
•
Remove the
ZGR SWIT NG from its packaging.
•
The battery elements will be packaged separately (if these have been ordered). When handling the elements
pay attention to the FRAGILE indications.
•
Checking the Batteries: An examination must be made to ensure that the batteries are not cracked, that there are no leaks
or dents and that their terminals are not rusted.
•
In the case of lead batteries, the elements are charged in the factory. In this way, they can be stored for up to
two years, provided that the minimum charge is made every six months during storage. Should this
recommendation not be followed, the batteries may be damage partially or completely.
•
Unpack the battery cabinet and/or
ZGR SWIT NG.
Should these recommendations not be followed, the terms of the warranty will not be applicable.
Place the complete unit in the place where it is to operate as indicated in the following section.
Checking the batteries
4.1.1
It should be thoroughly examined that the batteries do not have cracks, spills, bumps, and that their terminals are
not rusted.
Together with the batteries, they must receive the corresponding accessories such as connections, cover plates,
documentation, etc.
These elements are very heavy. Only use the appropriate handling systems.
4.2 Mechanical installation
Place and installation conditions
4.2.1
The place chosen for the installation must meet the following characteristics:
•
Protection against dust.
No claims will be accepted if, 24 hours following the delivery of the goods, no notification of reception of
material in bad conditions has been received and if this circumstance is not notified to the forwarding agent on
the corresponding delivery note at the time of delivery.
WARNING
Ensure that the weight of the unit is within the maximum load limits (kg) of the tools used in order to handle it
and the supports used to secure it in place. Review weight details in the specifications of the
ZGR SWIT NG.
WARNING
In case of lead batteries, they leave Factory charged. They can be stored up to 2 years as long as they are
recharged periodically, at least every 6 months, during storage.
If these recommendations are not followed, the warranty conditions of the battery will be lost.
