Changing and adjusting the inclination switch
Removal:
1)
Remove OPMI® from the suspension arm.
2)
Set balancing screw to minimum weight (turn
ccw).
3)
Remove the locking screw and the top cover
from the suspension arm.
4)
Remove protection flap (

).
5)
Loosen setscrew (

) and push out pin (

).
Note
Hold the two halves of the suspension arm
together by hand while pushing out pin (
3
).

6)
Allow the arm halves to slowly move apart. If
necessary, remove the cable clamp, to the
illumination potentiometer from the clip on the
upper half of the arm.
7)
Remove microswitch (

) and desolder it, or
remove the cable up to the illumination unit.

Installation:
1)
Insert the microswitch and make soldering
connections (cover connections with shrink
tubing) or route cable up to the illumination
unit.
2)
Slightly press the halves of the arm together
and secure the cable from the illumination
potentiometer in the clip on the upper half of
the arm, if necessary. Insert pin (

) in lock (

).
