Installation

Printer installation for the i.Profiler

plus

The i.Profiler

plus

only supports PostScript

®

printers connected via the Ethernet

or via a printer server. A network-capable PostScript

®

printer can be

connected to the i.Profiler

plus

directly (peer to peer) or via an existing

network.

Keep the manual for your printer or printer server ready. The
process for configuring the printer must conform to the

instructions in your printer's or printer server's manual.

CAUTION - HAZARD DUE TO INCORRECT DATA

Only a postscript capable network printer may be used.



WARNING - DANGER OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

The printer must be set up out of the customer’s range (1.5 m from the

customer's seat on the device) and connected to a separate outlet. The

operator may not touch the printer and customer at the same time.

If the printer is operated in the area of the customer, it must also be

connected through an isolating transformer.
