The status indicator light for the test connection to the MWL and Storage Provider is
required to be green. If the status indicator light is red and the Connection Test Details
reports “Failed”, verify that the AE Title, Host Name, and Port are correct, and then select
the Test button again. If you are still unsuccessful, take the following actions:
• Check with your network administrator to verify that your instrument is connected to
the network.
• Retry.
• Make sure the DICOM Modality Worklist and storage servers are running.
• The DICOM storage provider hard drive(s) may be full. Add more hard drives or make
more space available.
• Refer to the DICOM system manual for a possible resolution of the problem.
• Call Customer Service.
Note: The status indicators only check for correct MWL and Storage Provider entries. If you
are unable to retrieve a Modality Worklist, check that the Local AE Title and DICOM Port
entries are correct.
