Successful pairing

One beep means pairing was successfully completed.

The "Radio link intensity" status indicator (7) on the foot control panel is
illuminated in green for approx. 1 s.
on the FCP upgrade kit (optional)

The "Ready for use" status indicator (5) on the FCP upgrade kit is
illuminated in green.

The "Radio link intensity" (7) and "Batteries" (8) status indicators on
the FCP upgrade kit are illuminated in green after a delay of 1 - 8 s.
• Bring the foot control panel into a horizontal position (2).

The foot control panel activates the radio connection Then the "Radio link
intensity" status indicator (7) on the foot control panel flashes.
You can also check whether pairing was completed successfully on the
foot control panel by pressing two buttons at the same time. The "Radio
link intensity" status indicator (7) then lights up.
Pairing failed

If three beeps sound, this indicates that pairing was not completed
successfully.

The "Radio link intensity" status indicator (7) on the foot control panel is
illuminated in red for approx. 1 s.
For FCP WL 2 only: • If pairing was unsuccessful, the microscope must be restarted.
• Repeat the pairing process as described above.
CAUTION Confusion when using several foot control panels
When using several foot control panels, confusion and therefore
malfunctions may occur.
• After the pairing, label the relevant stand, optionally FCP upgrade kit with
a number (stickers included in the delivery package) (10) and the foot
control panel by setting the indicator (4) at the same number as the stand
or like the FCP upgrade kit (optional), see adjacent sample diagram.
• Ensure that the labeling carried out is only assigned once in the entire
OP area.
• Using the checklist on page 52 inspect the functioning of the foot control
panel.
