Installing FCP upgrade kit (optional)
Plug in upgrade kit

The stand has to be equipped with a multipoint connector (4).

The stand and the surgical microscope are switched off.
• Connect the head (1) to the counterpart (3) of the multipoint connector.
• Push the FCP upgrade kit (2) into the multipoint connector (5) until the FCP
upgrade kit audibly clicks in.

The FCP upgrade kit is in working order (6).
NOTE! Surgical microscopes suitable for upgrade
– The surgical microscopes with the following stands are compatible with
the foot control panel by upgrade with the FCP retrofit kit:
S7, S8, S81 and S88.
– Systems other than those mentioned above cannot be upgraded.
