Standard configuration with diagonal orientation
The diagonal orientation relates to the Focus and Zoom functions.
Joystick
The joystick has four steering directions:
1 forwards,
2 backwards,
3 left,
4 right.
5 Button,
Function depending on surgical microscope
6 Button,
Function depending on surgical microscope
7 Focus down
Focus a higher level, reduces working distance
8 Focus up
Focus a higher level, increases working distance
9 Button,
Function depending on surgical microscope
10 Zoom smaller
Decrease magnification, increases size of field of view
11 Zoom larger
Increase magnification, reduces size of field of view
12 Button,

You can switch the orientation from lengthwise to diagonal or vice-versa (see
