How to Use the Preset Functions

1.  Prepare a flat, steady surface away from all sources of heat and water with a

heat-resistant cutting board or mat and place the cooking vessel for your air

fryer lid on top. Do not use the silicone mat as you will need it for the hot lid

after cooking

NOTE:

We recommend using a cooking pot of 6Qt – 8Qt size as your cooking

vessel. See page 7 for compatible Zavor cookware and electric units.

CAUTION:

When using an electric cooker as your cooking vessel, leave the

pot inside the cooker body but DO NOT turn it on. All heating and programming

must be done on the air fryer lid ONLY.

2.  Place seasoned food in the frying basket and lower it into your cooking vessel.

Plug the air fryer lid in, place it onto the cooking vessel, and lower the safety

handle back until it clicks into place.

3.  Press the START/STOP button to bring the lid into standby mode. The two

screens will display the default cooking time and temperature. Press the

desired preset function button. The two screens will change to display the

default cooking time and temperature for the selected function.

4.  If you’d like, you can use the + and – buttons on either side of each screen to

adjust the time and temperature.

5.  Once the desired time and temperature are set, press the START/STOP button

to begin the cooking process. You’ll hear the internal fan start running.

NOTE:

For the best and most even results, toss or flip the food in the basket

halfway through cooking.

6.  While the air fryer lid is running, the display will show the set temperature and

remaining time.

7.  If you want to pause the cooking at any point, lift the top handle. The

remaining cooking time and temperature will remain on the LED screens. To

resume cooking, lower the handle back down until it clicks into place. To stop

the cooking process completely, press the START/STOP button. Both LED

screens will clear any time or temperature when the cooking process has

been stopped.

8.  When the cooking time is done, the lid will automatically shut off. Lift the air

fryer lid off of the cooking vessel and place it on the silicone mat on a flat,

stable surface. For safety, we recommend unplugging the lid and allowing it to

cool before storing.

9.  Use oven mitts to remove the frying basket from the cooking vessel and use

the tongs to remove hot food from the basket.
