4.2.3 Setting Cycle Time (Control Output Renewal Period)
The cycle time can be set when the control output type is time-proportional relay output
or voltage pulse output. The parameter to set a cycle time does not appear in ON/OFF
control (CTL = ONF) or in Dynamic Auto Tune control (CTL = SLF). Refer to “6.6.2
Cycle Time” on Page 6-8 for the functional description of cycle time.
The following operating procedure describes an example of changing the cycle time
form 30 seconds to 40 seconds.
Step 1:
Bring the operating display into view.

Press the or key to set the cycle time.
The period flashes while the value is being
changed.
In this example, the cycle time is changed to 40
Step 6:
Press the key once to register the
setpoint.
Step 3:
Press the key several times to display the
parameter "CT".

The period is OFF.
The period is OFF.
Step 7:
Press the key for 3 seconds or
more to return to the operating display.
Step 2:
Press the key for 3 seconds or more to
display the parameter "A1".
The parameter "A1" appears only for the controller
with the "/AL" or" /HBA" option.
The parameter "CTL" appears for the controller
without the "/AL" or" /HBA" option
