Operations Performed When the Power Is Turned On

When the power switch is turned On, a self-test and calibration start automatically. When
the DLM2000 starts normally, the waveform display screen appears. Check that the
DLM2000 has started normally before you use it.

If the DLM2000 Does Not Start Normally When the Power Is Turned On

Turn off the power switch, and check the following items.

• Check that the power cord is securely connected.
• Check that the correct voltage is coming to the power outlet.

• Initialize the settings to their factory defaults by turning on the power switch while

holding down the RESET key.

If the instrument still does not work properly, contact your nearest YOKOGAWA dealer

for repairs.

Note

• After turning the power switch OFF, wait at least 10 seconds before you turn it on again.
• It takes several seconds for the startup screen to appear.

Turning the Instrument Off

CAUTION

Abruptly turning off the main power switch or unplugging the power cord while data
is being saved or the internal printer is printing may corrupt the media on which
data is being saved or damage the built-in printer. Also, the data being saved is not
guaranteed. Always turn the main power switch off after data has been saved.
