3.3 Entering Numerical Values and Strings
Entering Numerical Values
Use the parameter input window to enter values.

COARSE/FINE

Tap a key of a function menu with parameters. A parameter input window appears,
and the current value is displayed in the value display area.
Using the Numeric keypad

Tap the numeric keypad to input a value. The input value appears below the
current value.
To correct a value, tap
(backspace) to delete numbers from the right, and
enter the correct numbers.

After entering a value, tap
μm/ENT
or
nm/ENT
depending on the parameter unit.
The value is applied.
For parameters without units, you can tap either μm/ENT or nm/ENT.

Tap
to close the parameter input window.
Note
If the value entered with the numeric keypad is not in the allowed value range, the nearest
allowed value will be set.
Using the Arrow Keys

Continuing from step 1, tap the arrow keys. The current value changes.
3.
Tapping
COARSE/FINE
switches the indication between COARSE and FINE and
increases or decreases the step by which the value you are setting changes or
the digit.
COARSE: Increases the step by which the value changes or sets the next higher
digit.
FINE: Decreases the step by which the value changes or sets the next lower digit.
4.
Tap
to close the parameter input window.
