8) Round off the hundredth digit and select the
appropriate shim(s).
In the example above, the calculated num-
ber is 1.38. The chart instructs you to round
off 8 to 10 at the hundredth place. Thus, the
shim thickness is 1.40 mm (0.055 in).
Shims are supplied in the following thickness.

TIP:
After replacing any part in the middle driven
pinion gear assembly, the overall length of the
assembly will change. Therefore, be sure to
measure distance
