CHECKING THE BRAKE FLUID LEVEL

5. Adjust:

• parking brake cable free play

a. Pull back the adjuster cover

b. Loosen the locknut

c. Turn the adjusting nut

in direction

until the correct free play is obtained.

d. Tighten the locknut

e. Slide the adjuster cover

to its original

position.

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.

TIP:

When checking the brake fluid level, make
sure that the top of the brake fluid reservoir is
horizontal.

2. Lift the hood up.
