The starter does not turn.

NOTE:

Before troubleshooting, remove the following parts:

Seat

Side cover 1 and 2

Check the fuse.

See "Checking the Fuse" on page 7-34.

Check the battery.

Refer to the "CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY" on
page 7-34.

Check operation of the starter motor.

Refer to the "CHECKING STARTER
OPERATION" on page 7-40.

Check the engine starts.

See "Verifying

Check the circuit starter cut relay.

37.

Check the starter relay.

See the "Verifying RELAYS" on page 7-

Check main switch.

Replace the fuse.

Clean the battery terminals
