BOTTOM BRACKET REMOVAL

Place the vehicle on a flat surface

WARNING

Securely support the vehicle so there is no risk
of falling.

Disassembly:

•

Upper ring nut

•

Grommet

•

Lower ring nut "1"

•

Lower bracket "2"

NOTE:

Disassemble the lower ring nut with the wrench to

the stem nut "2".

Nut wrench address

YSST-721

WARNING

Secure the bottom bracket securely so
there is no risk of falling.

CHECKING THE STEERING

Wash:

•

Bearings

•

Bearing races

Recommended cleaning
solvent

Kerosene

Remove the bottom bracket bearing with a

chisel "2" and the hammer.

Install bearing races and a new coat.

CAUTION

If the bearing races are not installed properly,

it could damage the tube steering column.

NOTE:

•

Always replace bearings and bearing races as a

set.

•

Each time the column is removed
