THROTTLE BODY AND FUEL INJECTOR

INSTALLING THE FUEL PUMP

1. Install:

• fuel pump

NOTE:

• Do not damage the installation surfaces of

the fuel tank when installing the fuel pump.

• Always use a new fuel pump gasket.
• Align the projection

on the fuel pump with

the alignment mark

on the fuel tank.

• Tighten the fuel pump bolts in the proper

tightening sequence as shown and torque
them in two stages.

Forward

4 Nm (0.4 m · kg, 2.9 ft · lb)

INSTALLING THE SUB-FRAME

1. Install:

• sub-frame adjusting bolts

• sub-frame rear mounting bolts

• sub-frame front lower mounting bolts

• sub-frame front upper mounting bolts

NOTE:

Do not fully tighten the bolts.

2. Tighten:

• sub-frame rear mounting bolts

NOTE:

Tighten the bolts on the left side of the scooter
first.

3. Tighten:

• sub-frame front lower mounting bolts

NOTE:

Tighten the bolt on the left side of the scooter
first.

54 Nm (5.4 m · kg, 39 ft · lb)
