them in a way that will cause them to short out against other components.

The exhaustion of the ATU backup battery of the

FT

DX

9000MP

is a normal “wear and tear” situation, and the

loss of the backup voltage is not a “defect” or other condition covered by the Limited Warranty on this product.
Accordingly, if you do not feel capable of replacing the battery, and ask a service shop to do so on your behalf,
a service fee may apply.
