Resetting or Inhibiting Processor Modules and Power Supplies

Suspend all operations on the processor module or inhibit a power supply.

Examples
1. In this example, the command reinitializes a processor module in the
local slot.
Xyplex>> reset chassis slot
2. In this example, the command suspends all activity on the processor
module in slot 5 with the HOLD keyword. A user enters this command
from a processor module in slot 3.
Xyplex>> reset chassis slot 5 hold
To reset the processor module in slot 5, the user enters the RESET
command again from the processor module in slot 5.
Xyplex>> reset chassis slot 5
After a short time, system initialization messages appear on the screen to
indicate that the reset has occurred.
3. This example inhibits a redundant power supply 4.
Xyplex>> reset chassis power supply 4 hold
This command resets the power supply in slot 4.
Xyplex>> reset chassis power supply 4
Power supply 4 can now provide power to modules in the chassis.
