Means
You will change a link on this module. This keyword is optional for
terminal servers, but you must specify it if you are changing the link on a
LAN bridge/router or WAN bridge/router.

[identifier]
A network identifier which specifies an Ethernet segment. You can
specify the Ethernet segment with the following keywords:
ETHERNET num | Ex
Where num or x is the number of an Ethernet

Table 4-5 shows which network identifiers are valid for each Network
9000 product.

A midplane Ethernet segment or an external connection. The keywords
for this variable are the following:
SEGMENT sid
Where sid is A, B, or C, and represents a midplane
Ethernet segment.
EXTERNAL
Where EXTERNAL specifies an external LAN.
When you specify EXTERNAL, the bridge or router
automatically associates the Ethernet link with the
correct external LAN.
