5.5 Changing Sub Stream Resolution
If you have added your IP camera but are getting no live image or a frozen image you may need to change
the Sub Stream resolution and the Stream type on the XRN.
The below table will show you all the supported stream types on your XRN unit.
XRN0808E
8x[1920*1080]+Sub stream [640*480] + 2Ref. + 1Play
8x[1280*720]+Sub stream [640*360] + 1Ref. + 4Play
XRN1609
16x[1280*960]+sub stream[640*480]+4Ref.+4Play
9x[1920*1080]+sub stream[960*576]+4Ref.+1Play
XRN2016
20x[1280*960]+sub[640*480]+4Ref.+4Play
16x[1920*1080]+sub[640*480]+4Ref.+4Play
8x[1920*1080]+8x[1280*960]+sub[640*480]+4Ref.+4Play
4x[2048*1536]+sub[960*576]+4Ref.+4Play

25x[1920*1080]+sub[960*576]+4Ref.+4Play
16x[1920*1080]+16x[1280*960]+sub[960*576]+4Ref.+4Play
8x[2048*1536]+sub[960*576]+4Ref.+8Play
4x[2592*1920]+sub[960*576]+4Ref.+4Play
The values above signify the maximum amount of channels, the maximum supported Main Stream
resolution, the maximum supported Sub Stream resolution and the maximum amount of channels that are
shown in playback.
So for example, the XRN0808E gives you two options of:
8 x [1920*1080] + Sub Stream [640*480] + 2Ref + 1Play
8 x [1280*720] + Sub stream [640*360] + 1Ref. + 4Play
If you use the 1st one as an example this means that it will allow 8 channels at a maximum resolution of
1920*1080 with a maximum Sub Stream resolution of 640*480, it will also play back 1 channel at a time
when viewing recorded footage.
8 x 1920*1080 + Sub Stream(640*480) + 2Ref + 1Play
