5. Adding an IP Camera

To begin, please make sure you have connected one of the XC IP Cameras or any other Onvif compliant IP

Camera to you LAN.

5.1 Auto IP (XC Cameras Only)

When the IP has been set up on the XRN, you will be able to use the Auto IP feature.

The Auto IP function will take the XRN IP address and automatically add IP address to the XC IP cameras

starting from the next IP. For example, if the XRN IP is 192.168.1.100, the first XC IP camera will have the

address 192.168.1.101 and the second 192.168.1.102 and so on.

1. To set up the Auto IP function, firstly right click the mouse and go to the ‘IP Channel Setting>Auto’.

2. Confirm that you wish to set up an IP channel automatically.

3. When you click ‘OK’ you will see a progress bar (below). When finished you will be able to see the image

from the camera you have added.
