Overview
ADSL2+ Tester is a hand held portable instrument that enables installer to confirm the ADSL
is being properly delivered to subscribers. This tester allows technicians to immediately know
what rates are being provided to their ADSL customers. Most ADSL service providers offer
multiple levels of service based on different connection speeds. Others need to ensure that at
least the minimum promised rates are delivered. ADSL2+ Tester does this quickly and
efficiently.
In addition to connection rates, ADSL2+ Tester also gives excellent analysis on the quality of
ADSL Line. It also supports PING and TRACE to evaluate the high level connectivity of the
ADSL line.
Also, ADSL2+ Tester supports replacing MODEM and simulating the whole process of login
on Internet. Real-time display upstream and downstream bit rate and throughput. DMM is
another testing feature provided by the tester. It can help the technicians troubleshooting in
the physical loop line.

What is ADSL?
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) allows the use of your existing telephone
line to provide broadband Internet access and voice services simultaneously. ADSL
will give you access to the Web at speeds up to 50 times faster than today's fastest
dial-up modems. Because ADSL has three separate channels, end-users can hold a
telephone conversation and surf the web at the same time -- over a single line.
There's no service interruption as when using dial-up modems over a traditional
phone line. Because it maintains a continuous connection, ADSL eliminates the need
to dial-up and connect with the Internet or the office. With ADSL, connecting to the
Internet is as simple and convenient as turning on your TV. Because ADSL is
provisioned as a point-to-point service, it provides enhanced security over shared
networks.
