Table 11: Specifications of DMM testing
Warning:
DMM is designed for ADSL line test use only. All the measurement ranges of
the built-in electrical circuits are based on the ADSL line. Please do not use
this function in any other circumstances. Otherwise the out-ranged voltages
or currents may result in the damage to the tester.
When making DCV or ACV measurements, if the reading on LCD is displayed
as
“
>400V
”
or
“
<-400V
”
, please disconnect the signal under test right now
to protect the tester.
Do not connect this instrument to any signal cable carrying a hazardous
voltage.
In DMM testing, there are two interfaces for the signal accessing. One is DMM
test interface and the other is the ADSL line interface (RJ-11). When making
DMM testing, both two interfaces can be used. But these two interfaces can
not be used simultaneously. Keep one interface vacant when making DMM
measurements on the other one.
