Gateway Address

If you chose Manual for Gateway Type, set the gateway address for printing with TCP/IP on
your network.
Enable Web Services
On, Off
Select On to make WebTools available to users. TCP/IP must be enabled on the EX/i Print
Server and client computers. A Java-enabled Web browser and a valid IP address or DNS host
name are required for each client computer.
Network Security
On, Off
Select Off if you inadvertently closed a port and must access the EX/i Print Server. If you set
this option to Off, the following features are disabled:
• IP Filtering
• Port Filtering
• IPSec
• Mac Address Filtering
Login timeout
5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 seconds, never
Specify the amount of time the EX/i Print Server times out after you log on.
When you finish making changes, press Save Changes. The EX/i Print Server requires a
reboot in order for any Setup changes to take effect.
802.1x Setup
The EX/i Print Server can seek authentication from an 802.1x authentication server (such as a
RADIUS server), often through an intermediate access point (an authenticator). The EX/i
Print Server seeks this authentication at startup, or when the Ethernet cable is disconnected
and reconnected. If the EX/i Print Server is successfully authenticated, it is allowed access to
the network.
Press 802.1x Setup to access 802.1x Setup options.
Enable 802.1x Authentication

Select On to allow the EX/i Print Server to seek authentication from an 802.1x authentication
server.
