Message Cause/Treatment
Cause: Tray * is out of order.
Treatment: Switch off the power and then on again. If the
message appears again, contact the Xerox
Customer Support Centre.
Cause: The upper left cover is open.
Treatment: Close the upper left cover firmly.
Cause: The lower left cover is open.
Treatment: Close the lower left cover firmly.
Cause: The duplex unit is open.
Treatment: Close the duplex unit firmly.
Cause: The toner of the drum/toner cartridge is used up.
Treatment: Replace it with a new drum/toner cartridge.

Cause: The drum/toner cartridge is not properly
loaded.
Treatment: Load the drum/toner cartridge properly.

Cause: Paper jams.
Treatment: Follow the instruction displayed by the main set
control panel and the printer to remove the
paper.
Cause: The cover of the mail box is open.
Treatment: Close the cover of the mail box.
This message appears when the mail box is installed.
