2.5 LAN Clients
Click on the
LAN Clients
link in the navigation bar to view the
LAN Clients table.
New IP Address:
Enter the IP address for the new connection.
IP addresses that are assigned manually will be listed as static
addresses.
Host Server:
Enter an identifier for the host.
Static Address:
This box lists the LAN clients for which IP
addresses have been manually assigned.
Delete:
Check this checkbox to delete the assignment of the IP
address in the corresponding row. If you delete the assignment
of the IP address, the address will be available for dynamic
allocation by the router. Click on the
Apply
button to complete
the configuration.
Dynamic Addresses:
This box lists the LAN clients for which IP
addresses have been allocated dynamically by the router.
Reserve:
Check this checkbox to convert the dynamic IP
address in the corresponding row to a static address. Click on
the
Apply
button to complete the configuration. You will then see
the IP address listed in the Static Addresses box.
Please note that configurations can only be permanently saved
through the
Maintenance
interface.

2.6 Bridge Filters
Click on the
Bridge Filters
link in the navigation bar to view the
Bridge Filters table. The Bridge Filter feature allows users to
define rules for denying or allowing frames to pass through the
bridge. Bridge Filter rules will only apply to frames from
interfaces that are part of the bridge.
Enable Bridge Filters:
Check this checkbox to enable the
Bridge Filters feature.
Source MAC:
Enter the source MAC address into this field.
Destination MAC:
Enter the destination MAC address into this
field. An entry of 00-00-00-00-00-00 for either the source or
destination MAC will apply to any/all addresses for this field.
Protocol:
Select the desired protocol from the drop-down list.
Mode:
Select Deny or Allow mode from the drop-down list. In the
example above, frames from the source MAC specified will be
denied passage through the bridge. After the configuration is
complete, the rule will be listed in the table below.
Edit:
Click on the toggle button to edit the rule in the
corresponding row.
Delete:
Check this checkbox to delete the rule in the
corresponding row. You can perform multiple deletion by
checking the
Select All
checkbox.
Click on the
Apply
button to complete the configuration. Please
note that configurations can only be permanently saved through
the
Maintenance
interface.
Note that built-in filter rules always allow passage for the
following frames: All ARP frames; Ipv4 frames with the source or
destination MAC address of the bridge.
