Densitometric Screens
The Density, Dot/Tone, Trap, Hue/Grayness, and Print Contrast
screens consist of five main areas: Function and Status, Color
Option, User Dialog, Measurement List, and Measurement
data.
Function and Status
This portion of the screen displays the densitometer function
and current status. The status is only changeable through the
Configuration menu.
Color Option
This portion of the screen indicates the current color mode
selected. Pressing the Enter key with the color mode
highlighted pages through the available color options.
User Dialog
This portion of the screen displays the current mode or
condition of the instrument. For example, measurement
sequence information appears here during a reading.
Measurement List
This portion of the screen displays the measurement items
available for the active function.
Measurement Data
This portion of the screen instantaneously displays
measurement data for the active function.
Using the Instrument
There are several techniques used to navigate through the
instrument screens, select functions and settings, and determine
values and names.
