Alteration of code number
(all models)
The setting of a code number prevents the monitor's configuration from being changed by
unintended or mistaken pressing of the input keys.
The code number can be called up in the "parameterization" level, see also chapter "Reading of
the parameterization".
In the ex-factory condition the code number has been set to 000 (when the configuration or the
parameterization is called up "555" is indicated in the display).
This means the configuration and the parameterization of the instrument are not protected. The
instrument can be configured and parameterized as described in the chapter "Configuration".
Only an alteration of the code number protects the instrument from unintended or
unauthorized changes.
Setting of a code number:
Submenu "PARAMETER".
With
enter submenu
"PARAMETER".

select submenu "PARA PASS".
With
enter submenu
"PARA PASS".
The current code number is displayed.
(in ex-factory condition indication "555").
Set the code number digit by digit with the
and
keys (accept).
(Code number "555" is not valid!)
After the last digit go on to "PARA T-ADJ"

If a code number different from "000" has been input the instrument can only be configured
or parameterized when this new number is used!
"000" is input:
Elimination of the code number lock (Reset to ex-factory condition)
=> with access to parameterization or configuration "555" is displayed,
3 times accepting with
allows access and alteration of the setting.
Input of "555":
inadmissible, is not accepted by the instrument.
