Indication after invalid conductivity check (calibration error)
With a deviation of the cell constant > ±10 %, an error message is displayed and instead of the
measured values, 3 lines are indicated (only with fixed assignment TetraCon
®
700/600/300, not
with variable cell constant).
The last measured value is frozen (important for relays and recorders).
Error indication in the conductivity check mode
Example:
This message is displayed with an upper or lower
deviation of the cell constant by more than 10%.
This message is not displayed in the operation
mode „Variable cell constant“.
After accepting with or switching over to measuring operation:

Measurement is only possible after a valid
conductivity check!
To eliminate the error message:

Check and possibly clean or replace
conductivity cell.

Check and possibly replace standard calibration
solution.
Then perform conductivity check again.
If these steps are unsuccessful or cannot be performed but the user nevertheless wants to go on
measuring the following action is possible:

With

heck go back to operation mode "conductivity check".
l
With the or key set the cell constant back to the allowed range of ± 10% around the
default value.
Note: Values which are measured after an invalid conductivity check with setting back of the cell
constant have a bigger error of measurement and do not correspond to the specifications
mentioned in the chapter "Technical data".
We absolutely recommend to check the measuring system in order to achieve a valid
conductivity check!
