Wiring of KI/S:

Note:
After the connection of the 8-wire EK 170 cable 2 wires remain unused, from the 7-wire
EK/AG cable 1 wire remains unused. The unused "wire" should be fixed in position or pinched off.
4. "SENS CHECK" connection
At the LF 171 monitor the "SENS CHECK" relay is not assigned.
5. REC 1 / REC 2 connections
REC1 and REC 2 are current outputs which can be configured either as 0 - 20 mA or as
4 - 20 mA outputs. If devices with a common ground are used pay attention to an exact polarity of
the current direction (+ / - ). These are active sources of current that do not need any external
supply points! Do not use external supply points. This may lead to errors at the current outputs!
Maximum load 600 Ohm.
6. K1.. K4 (relay points)
The 4 relay points K1/K2/K3/K4 have been designed as potential-free make contacts (close). Via
the software configuration all points can be configured as break contacts (open). The assignment
of the relays to the corresponding functions is made via the software configuration.
The points have been designed for 24 V AC/DC / 500mA.
