Suspend to Disk
In Suspend to Disk mode, the WinBook FX copies the contents of the main and video memories
to disk, and virtually turns itself off. This mode saves the most power, but it is slower to suspend
and resume.
NOTE:
If you partition or reformat your hard disk drive, you must create a dedicated disk
partition using the Phoenix PHDISK utility that came on the WinBook FX Support Disk. We
ship the system with a Suspend [FX 3-11] to Disk partition already installed, so unless you are
adding memory yourself, you should not have to use this utility. The PHDISK Utility will
automatically determine the size of the partition required for your system and then create it.
Be
sure to backup your system before using this utility.
