Shortcut Menu
When you right click the viewing screen, a shortcut
menu pops up. The shortcut menu provides an alter-
native method for controlling DVD playback. The
commands in this menu are the same as those available
in the Control Panel.
Depending on the disc in use, not all items are available
for modification. Unavailable items will be dimmed in
the menu. Arrows to the right side of items invoke sub-
menus.
To close the shortcut menu, click anywhere outside the
menu.
WinDVD Setup
You can customize how WinDVD works. For example a password can be set
to prevent your children from watching movies rated R or NC-17.
Your settings will become global preferences in that they affect all DVDs, CDs
and other media that you play through WinDVD. If you want to temporarily
change the way WinDVD plays the current disc, use the Sub Panel.
To set up WinDVD, select
Setup
from the shortcut menu or click the
Setup button on any of the Sub Panels. The Setup dialog box has six tabs as
described on the next page.
