• Make sure that there is enough space left on the floppy disk.
• Make sure that the floppy disk is not physically damaged.
Problem: The disk drive cannot read a floppy disk.
Solution Make sure that you are reading the correct drive.
Hard Disk Drive Problems
Problem: A hard disk drive error message appears on the screen.
Solution The hard disk drive has defects. Ask your dealer for help.
Problem: Hard disk drive operation seems slow.
Solution The data files stored on the hard disk drive may be fragmented.
Use a tool such as Windows’
Disk Defragmenter to defragment
the files.
Keyboard Problems
Problem: The numeric keypad is disabled.
Solution Make sure that
Num Lock
is switched on.
LAN Problems
Note: Due to the unlimited variety of network implementations, we are unable
to provide technical support for networking functions. Please see your network
administrator or internet service provider for all networking questions.
Problem: I cannot access the network.
Solution • Make sure that the LAN cable is properly connected to the
RJ-45 connector and the network.
• Make sure that the network configuration is appropriate.
• Make sure that the user name or password is correct.
