Display Problems
Problem: Nothing appears on the screen.
Solution • During operation the screen may automatically turn off as a result
of power saving. Press any key to see if the screen comes back.
• The brightness level might be too low. Increase the brightness by
spinning the brightness knob to the right.
Problem: The characters on the screen are dim.
Solution • Increase the brightness of the screen by spinning the brightness
knob to the right.
Problem: Resolution cannot be adjusted to the desired setting.
Solution Make sure that the VGA driver is correctly installed.
Entertainment Problems
Problem: The remote control does not work.
Solution • Make sure that you use the remote control within the allowable
distance and angle.
• Make sure that the batteries are not weak.
• Make sure that the batteries are correctly installed.
Problem: Poor TV or FM broadcast signal.
Solution • Use the fine tune feature.
• Relocate the antenna for the best possible signal reception.
Floppy Disk Drive (Optional) Problems
Problem: The Floppy Disk Drive does not work.
Solution Make sure that the floppy disk drive cable is properly
connected.
Problem: The Floppy Disk Drive In-use Indicator stays on.
Solution • Make sure that the floppy disk is not physically damaged.
• Make sure that the floppy disk is inserted correctly.
Problem: The disk drive cannot write to a floppy disk.
Solution • Make sure that the floppy disk is formatted.
• Make sure that the floppy disk is not write-protected.
• Make sure that you are writing to the correct drive.
