Manual V 1.03 / ref. no. 00.000.0059.0 / 28.03.2001
In fixed installations or systems without an all-pole mains
isolating switch, an isolating switch or a back-up fuse must be
present in the building installation.
The set nominal voltage range must correspond to the local
mains voltage in the case of load power supply and power
supply modules.
As regards the 24 V supply, you should ensure that
-
lightning protection measures are provided
-
the 24 V extra-low voltage has been electrically isolated.
3.1.5
Disconnection and emergency stop
An emergency stop should be enforced if hazardous operating
conditions occur, in particular
-
during start-up after a voltage dip or failure
-
during start-up of control systems after disruption of the bus
communication.
3.1.6
Maintenance and service
If measuring or testing procedures are required on the active
device, the definitions and instructions for implementation of the
accident prevention regulation VBG 4.0 should be observed. A
suitable electronic tool should be used.
Before opening a device, the connection to the power supply
system should always be isolated (withdraw the mains plug or
open the isolating switch).
When replacing fuses, only the types that are specified in the
technical data may be used.
