The String Trimmer

Assembling the String Trimmer Attachment

Use the included screws to attach the string cutter to the safety hood. Attach

the safety hood itself to the shaft tube with the included screws and nuts.
Before the first use pull the strings out of the spool housing until they almost

reach the safety hood. Push the release button in the middle of the spool

housing and simultaneously pull on the ends of the string.
Start up the unit and run it at idle speed. The length of the string is regulated

automatically. Excess will be cut off by the string cutter attached to the safety

hood.
The strings will wear down or break over time. This will result in deteriorating

cutting performance. Press the spool housing to the ground or a hard surface

briefly during operation to push the release button. This will unlock the spool

and release fresh string and about 3 cm of string will be unwound. If more

string broke off, press the unit down repeatedly until the full cutting diameter is

restored.
