REAL TIME CLOCK
A real-time clock is implemented in unit software. It contains the date and time, and is shown on
the front-panel LCD, in 24-hour time (11pm is hour 23). This clock is loaded from the network
control stream and automatically refreshed regularly. At initial power-up, it is not set, and no
scheduled activities may take place until the network loads it.
To read the real-time clock, simply look at the Front Panel Display. If no front panel buttons
have been pushed for one minute, the ‘Time/Date’ screen will be displayed. If another screen is
displayed instead, you may move through the menus to the Home Level screens to see the
‘Time/Date’.

SETTING MIC SENSITIVITY
If you have any questions relative to microphone specifications, please call the Muzak NOC.
The microphone input has two microphone sensitivity levels, high and low. Depending on the
type of microphone you have, you may need to change the sensitivity for proper local spot
recording levels. You may check this setting on the Home Level Menu, but you can check or
change it by the following:
1.
From the ‘Time/Date’ screen, press <ENTER>, then press <SELECT>. This should take
you to ‘microphone sensitivity’ screen. [Mic Gain Control] will be displayed.
2.
One of two screens will be displayed.
a.
If the current sensitivity is
high
, the screen will show [Decrease Enter].
b.
If the current sensitivity is
low
, the screen will show [Increase Enter].
c.
Pressing <ENTER> will change (toggle) to the other sensitivity level. It will also exit
this screen and return to the second level menu.
