TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Rivets should be approximately
1/16" longer than the thickness
of the material used
Problem:
Bent rivet from
too much pressure -OR-
Length of rivet is too long
for material being riveted
Solution:
Turn adjustment
wheel clockwise to raise
driver -OR- Use the next size
shorter rivet if your rivet was
too long for your material
Problem:
Loose rivet from
not enough pressure
Solution:
Turn adjustment
wheel counterclockwise to
lower driver
When testing, the rivet should
be straight and snug in the cap.
A bent rivet means too much
pressure was applied, so the
driver will need to be raised by
turning the adjustment wheel
clockwise. Turn the adjustment
wheel counterclockwise for a
loose rivet
