Exclusions from the warranty:
Under the warranty, Watts Industries will replace the
mixing valve parts or the mixing valve itself free of charge if it recognises they are defec-

recognised as being defective.
The following exclusions void the warranty and can lead to administrative costs including
the price of parts when:
1. The damage has been caused by accident, force majeure, abuse, vandalism, incorrect
installation, incorrect installation of the hot water system of which the mixing valve is a
part, or if an attempt has been made to dismantle or tamper with the mixing valve
mechanism.
2. It is found that the mixing valve is operating correctly as defined by standards.
3. The failure of the mixing valve is partially or fully due to a defective installation of the
hot water system of which the mixing valve is a part.
4. The mixing valve has failed directly or indirectly due to excessive water pressure or
temperature outside the application instructions, to a thermal shock, to a corrosive
environment or to corrosive water.
5. The mixing valve has failed due to foreign bodies originating from the system or the
water supply.
6. The failure of the mixing valve is due to scaling of the mixing valve.
7. The failure of the mixing valve is partially or fully due to a system that is not compliant
with the state-of-the-art standards, the installation instructions indicated by Watts Indus-
tries, the health regulations and the legislation in force in the country where it is installed.
8. Watts Industries reserves the right to modify its product specifications without notice
and declines all liability for all claims resulting from such a change.
9. In all cases, Watts Industries cannot, under any circumstances, be held liable for
damage to property or injuries whether direct, indirect or other caused by any use or
installation of a device that is not compliant with the manufacturer’s recommendations or
state-of-the-art standards. Any claims for damages to property or real estate, or any
other losses directly or indirectly resulting from a leak in the mixing valve are also
excluded from the warranty.
10. It is found that the mixing valve has been forced.
