Draw-off point protection
The fitting of anti-scald cartridges is MANDATORY at the draw-off points
to protect
users from the risk of scalding if the system is accidentally used during a thermal shock
cycle. Water is cut off if the temperature exceeds 48 °C.
Anti-scald cartridge specifications:
max. static pressure: 10 bar; max. dynamic
pressure: 5 bar; cut-off temperature: between 48 and 50 °C; KV: 1.3 at 42 °C. Observe
the water flow direction indicated by the arrow marked on the device.

What is legionella?
Legionella bacteria (which cause legionellosis) are found naturally in water and pose
an
extremely dangerous risk to public health
. Transmission occurs through inhalation. These
bacteria multiply when the hot water temperature is too low or water stagnates inside the
system, or due to a build-up of sediment and scale in the pipes.
The bacteria are destroyed
when the water temperature reaches 60 °C
(and taking around 30 minutes).
