3. Push and hold down the grey button (SW1) on the staple head PCB and re-
connect the power/data bus plug into the PL1 socket.
4. Once the plug is in place, release the grey button. The indicator LED1 will
now flash seven times, go out and then come back on again.
5. Pressing the grey button on that PCB will now operate the staple head and
clincher. It is recommended to place a piece of paper or cloth beneath the
staple head to catch the staples when the head fires. This will avoid them
falling into the machine.
6. If the clincher is not operating then it is possible that there is a fault in the
staple head. To check if this is the case, simply swap the staple heads over.
7. Switch the mains power off and on again to resume normal operation.
